Echo Fluens (Android App) – Privacy Policy

This section applies specifically to the Echo Fluens Android application distributed via Google Play. The app page is available at https://triaxis.uk/echofluens.

Echo Fluens (the “App”) is operated by TriAxis Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Echo Fluens Android app.

2. Information we process

We may process the following categories of information when you use the App:

• Account information: email address (and any profile details you choose to provide) used for sign-in and account sync.
• User content: messages, plans, notes/journal entries, mood entries (e.g., mood score/emojis), and AI-generated insights produced inside the app.
• Recipients (optional): phone numbers/emails you enter or select for message delivery features you initiate.
• Contacts (optional, permission-based): selected contact details (see Section 3).
• Purchases: subscription status and purchase history related to in-app purchases made via Google Play Billing (we do not receive or store your payment card details).
• Technical & diagnostics data: app version, device/OS info, and basic diagnostics (e.g., crash data) used to improve reliability and security.
• Security (optional): if you enable app locking, your device/Android OS may use biometrics to authenticate you. We do not collect, store, or receive your biometric information (e.g., fingerprints/face templates).

3. Contacts permission (READ_CONTACTS)

Echo Fluens may request the Android permission android.permission.READ_CONTACTS to enable a Contact Picker when choosing recipients.

• We do not upload or store your entire address book.
• We use only the contact details you explicitly select (e.g., name and phone/email) to prefill recipient fields.
• You can deny or revoke this permission in Android settings; the app remains usable with manual entry.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide core app functionality (plans, notes, messages, and delivery features you initiate).
• Provide optional AI-based insights based on your submitted content (for example, “Soul Insight”).
• Authenticate accounts and synchronize data (where enabled).
• Process subscriptions and purchases via Google Play.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve stability.

Echo Fluens does not provide medical advice. Any AI-generated content is informational and for personal reflection only.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with essential service providers to operate the App, such as:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and secure storage.
• Google Play Billing: processing in-app purchases; we receive subscription/purchase status, not your card details.
• AI service provider (e.g., OpenAI): processes user-provided text/mood inputs only to generate AI insights you request.
• Messaging providers: only the recipient information required to deliver messages you initiate.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact echofluens@triaxis.uk.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your Echo Fluens account and associated cloud data:

• In the app: use the “Delete Account” option in Settings; or
• By email: contact echofluens@triaxis.uk from your account email with subject “Delete my Echo Fluens account”.

We may request verification to prevent unauthorized deletion.

9. Children’s privacy

Echo Fluens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date in this section indicates the latest version.
